The Beauty: When you look up WAG in the dictionary, there should be a picture of Danielle Lloyd. She epitomizes this new breed of players’ attention-seeking wives & girlfriends. She also has all of the elements of a prototypical WAG: (1) she’s a beauty queen (Miss Great Britain 2004), (2) reality star (though not for too long due to some foolish remarks), (3) actress (sort of), and (4) model (of the nude variety). You simply couldn’t make this list without her.
The Beast: Lloyd first got her WAG card when she dated a well-traveled Premier League player, Teddy Sherringham. After he broke up with her for making some incredibly stupid and racist remarks on a reality show, Lloyd moved on to Prem stars Marcus Bent and Jermaine Defoe (but, thankfully, not at the same time according to the tabloids). She is now engaged to Jamie O’Hara, a youngster currently on loan to Portsmouth. She seems to be addicted to soccer stars.
The Bard: Ms. Lloyd is a much-discussed WAG, and I will throw more fuel on the fiery debate:
It took longer than expected but I have deciphered Danielle Lloyd’s scheme.
She plans to continue to collect soccer boytoys until she can field an entire team.
She will also seduce other famous men, like an A List actor and a rock band’s bassist.
And she will promote herself to make us forget how on Celebrity Big Brother she was racist.
I will never forget, my dear, but your apology does make me want to forgive you.
Ah who am I kidding, I’m still mad as hell, but you’re the sexiest damn thing on the menu.
