champions_leagueCouple of big injury stories ahead of next weeks Champions League semi-finals

Arsenal v Manchester United
Arsenal have received a major blow with the news that striker Robin van Persie has ruled out of the first leg at Old Trafford on Wednesday with a groin injury. Also missing the first leg will be Arsenal left-back Gaël Clichy who has a back injury. 

Manchester United have their own injury worries as right-backs Gary Neville and John O’Shea will both miss the semi-final games.

Chelsea v Barcelona
Chelsea have all but ended hope of Ricardo Carvalho lining up against FC Barcelona at the Camp Nou next week after the centre-back aggravated a hamstring problem on Monday.
