With only hours left before the end of the transfer window it appears that the biggest move made yet is in the works.  According to ESPN ‘s Deadline Day Livestaff Tottenham forward Robbie Keane is rumored to be heading to Celtic on a loan deal.  The Irishman apparently claimed it was the only club he would consider leaving the Spurs for.  If the transfer rumor is correct then that would likely be the biggest deadline news we have heard yet in a transfer window that has not seen an unusual amount of activity.  The only question left regarding the two sides would be whether or not the Spurs would attempt to land a respectable striker at the last minute?

Tottenham forward Roman Pavlyuchenko is being talked about moving to Birmingham, but if this recent Keane development is true then that means Pavs would probably stay at Tottenham where he would see more regular minutes.  I think this transfer rumor is the biggest yet of the window and if Keane does in fact leave the Premier League then it means Tottenham has lost one of the most consistent goal scorers of the last decade.

We will keep you posted here at the PLTO of any shocking transfer moves when they happen today, but I think Robbie Keane moving to Celtic will likely take the cake.

As for a few other rumors and moves being reported in the last few hours by ESPN, Manchester City apparently wants Adam Johnson and Fernando Gago.
