A Severe Lack of Class in the Premier League From Bellamy

Let the play on the field “talk”.

Craig Bellamy had the following to say about John Terry after his Manchester City squad defeated Chelsea 4-2:

”You guys [the media] make a lot more of it you know. I know what JT is like and nothing surprises me about it, so I’m not going to comment on that. I think everybody in football knows what the guy is like, but that’s off the field.”

”On it he’s an outstanding player. He’s a great captain for Chelsea. It’s always going to be difficult when you play him and his team.”

Honestly, could Craig Bellamy be any LESS media savvy?  First off, you need to pick one.  Does he suck or not.  I’m not sure if you just hate his guts, or if you truly believe he’s the Anti-Christ.  You can talk about his “stuff”, but to say that “everyone” knows how he is–for the record I DID NOT–and to then say that you aren’t commenting is a “bush league” move.

At least Terry owned his stuff and took his demotion like a man.  Craig Bellamy isn’t so much of a man.

This general lack of class in the EPL is pretty disturbing.

At some point someone has to decide to be the “bigger man” and just say:

“They played us tough and we beat them fair and square.”

If you don’t like the dude then tell your coach, tell your teammates, tell your wife, your girlfriend, somebody, but NOT the press.  It makes you look like a neanderthal.  A BIG one.

At any moment I fully expect to see pictures of Craig Bellamy carrying a large wooden club and dragging a woman by her hair into a cave.  It would be much better if he just shut his trap.  That’s my policy for these athletes…shut up!

Moreover, Bellamy is making his TEAM seem classless–as they sit back 12 points of Chelsea on the table–that is most distressing.  He’s painting all of his teammates in a negative light as well.  How selfish can you get?

Please, for all that is holy, take a lesson and just do your job.

Well said bellamy you always speak your mind and don’t shirk controversy, and for that you deserve respect.haha I think the person who wrote this could possibly be a Chelsea fan.
